If the title of this article caught your attention, we understand why. There are a lot of people who are interested in global conspiracy theories, and while we understand that, our goals here at this website are to promote common sense preparation, emergency and survival techniques, outdoor activities to include safe hunting activities, off-the-grid living and more.
As we see more and more swings in weather patterns, it simply makes good sense for everyone to be prepared in cases of emergencies. In fact, I was at a get-together with some folks from my fitness club, and the conversation turned to topics about hurricanes since “Hurricane Season” is usually from early June until November. Of course it quickly became a “so what do YOU guys do at your place to get ready?” “Do you evacuate when they tell you to?” “Why does everyone wait ’til the day before landfall to try to stock up on water when they had months to get ready?” etc… etc…
And so with that in mind, we are going to steer clear of features that include deliberate fear-mongering about economic collapse or anything else. There’s enough of that out there without us needing to fuel it further…
Now, that’s not to say that we shouldn’t listen to or be concerned about certain things we hear in the media. It’s just that at this site, we are interested in publishing helpful ideas to ease fear and worry. And, if you are into outdoor sports, that’s great too! The same goes for common sense prepping.
One of my friends is a perfect example of this. He doesn’t wear an aluminum foil hat. He simply prefers living off the grid, has a fantastic bank of solar panels, a composting toilet (that’s it – not even a single “flush toilet” in his home), and talks about “growing” fish (if you are a reader of this and other survival and preparation websites, you have likely heard about aquaculture). He also does have a sense of skepticism that perhaps the government doesn’t entirely have our best interests at heart – but still, no tin foil hat.
Anyway, I just wanted to ensure that we clarify our stance at TruthSurvival.com. This was an opportunity to address it here.
Thanks so much for being a reader. We are excited to bring you news and views you can use – whether you are a prepper or just some guy like my friend up the road who wants some info on maintaining his solar panels (and who does tend to know how to survive in just about every situation).
